A few things to know.
Is Nomad Dashboard free?
Yes. It’s free to download and use, and open source under Apache-2.0. The app is provided as-is, without a warranty or service guarantee.
Which Macs does it support?
Nomad Dashboard requires macOS 14 or later. Download the app directly from GitHub Releases. Signed public releases support in-app updates.
Does it work offline?
Bundled emergency and embassy information and on-device daylight calculations work offline. Selected travel cards keep saved summaries with timestamps. Fresh forecasts, alerts, fuel prices and city data need a connection.
Does Data Guard limit all my Mac’s traffic?
It measures traffic on the default-route network interface while monitoring, warns as you approach your cap, and pauses Nomad’s own large background downloads at the limit. It does not stop other apps or system updates.
Are visa-day tools or Android available?
Android is in development. Stays, visa-day calculations, arrival briefings, local rhythm, UV and air-quality heads-up items, and Siri, Shortcuts and widgets are ongoing macOS work, not features included in v0.17.2.
